RESIDENT ARTIST RESIDENTARTIST SCOTT ERIC WILLIAMS VISUAL ARTIST / PHOTOGRAPHY BACK TO OVERVIEW Is a self-taught artist from Cape Town, and the 2019 Andrew Mellon Award winning artist. NOMUSA MUSA MTSHALI PAINTER / SCULPTOR BACK TO OVERVIEW Musa is a mixed-media artist with a skill-set including painting, sculpting, installation as well as performance. They are recently graduated with the Fine Art B-tech at Durban University of Technology. TAFADZWA TEGA PAINTER / SCULPTOR BACK TO OVERVIEW Tafadzwa Tega was born in 1995 in Harare, Zimbabwe. He started doing art at the early age of 10 years old inspired by his brother and other family members. SETHEMBILE MSEZANE VISUAL ARTIST / SPEAKER / PERFORMER BACK TO OVERVIEW Sethembile Msezane creates commanding works heavy with spiritual and political symbolism. The artist explores issues around spirituality, commemoration and African knowledge systems. Ziyanda Majozi ARTIST BACK TO OVERVIEW Ziyanda Majozi is a full-time artist based in Cape Town, who works expertly in mosaic medium. Born 1985 Ziyanda was raised in the rural Eastern Cape. She has been practicing art for the past 9 years. NOBUKHO NQABA PHOTOGRAPHER / ARTIST BACK TO OVERVIEW Nobukho Nqaba was born in Butterworth in the Eastern Cape, South Africa. She is a graduate of the Michaelis School of Fine Art, University of Cape Town (UCT) where she majored in photography (2012). Also in 2012, she was awarded the Tierney Fellowship and was the recipient of reGeneration3, a photography focused initiative by the Musee de l’Elysee. KING DEBS VISUAL / ARTIST BACK TO OVERVIEW Is a Cape Town based, South African artist who focuses on multimedia art and design. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Multimedia Design and Technology at the Tshwane University of Technology. CHULUMANCO FENI ARTIST BACK TO OVERVIEW Is a post-apartheid (1994) born artist who was born and bred in Langa, Cape Town. His interest and commitment to art was developed and nurtured by Arts & Culture and Design teacher Nokhwezi Nkunzi at Isilimela Comprehensive High School. Nkunzi’s commitment as a teacher has shaped the foundation of many art students who have gone on to have professional careers both locally and internationally.
